The Gerenuk or giraffe gazelle (Litocranius walleri) is a long-necked antelope that occurs in arid regions of East Africa. Gerenuks are primarily browsers and look for food on tree leaves and fruits. Sometimes they even stand on their hind legs and extend their necks to feed themselves. Male gerenuken have lyre-shaped horns.
